Everybody ought to have a Cousin!
Stefi and Austin were able to come and stay with us for the weekend to attend a wedding reception for one of Chad's cousins Ryan... We got to play Settlers of Catan. That was fun - and I didn't even win! lol

Let it Snow, let it snow, let it snow!
It has been snowing a lot over the past few days... makes me grateful for an SUV! I don't think I would be able to get home some days without it! I decided that since Alli and Drew have been asking me everyday "when they are going to get to play outside in the snow" that I should probably let them...
so... I got them all bundled up (and noticed that Drew's boots no longer fit him anymore. His feet have grown 3 sizes in like 3 months so I put on his regular tennis shoes on and his gloves are not the best for making snowmen with so I had him use Alli's, which was a mistake because he is so uncoordinated at getting mittens on... He bunches his fingers into a fist to make it practically impossible to put the mittens on. Then when you finally do get his fingers in, there is a slot for your thumb to go into and how do you describe to a 2 year old how to get your thumb into this tiny hole that you can't see without it frustrating both of you... which is the complete opposite of what you are trying to do by getting all bundled up in the first place, so you just decide who cares if he has his thumb in the hole and send them to go have fun in the snow...)
The snow is so deep that as soon as Drew steps in it he starts to cry that his feet are cold, and then Alli tells me she has to go to the bathroom, which is really annoying cause you know it takes just as long to get all the stuff off then it does to put it on; so I told Alli she would have to hold it cause We were going to "enjoy" playing in the snow for a few minutes whether they liked it or not! lol So I tried to make even the tiniest snowball to try to start a snowman but none of the snow stuck together whatsoever! Needless to say we gave up, went inside and had some Hot Cocoa and Soup...

Chad took this picture of the trampoline (It had a huge sheet of ice on it and it was weighing down the trampoline so much we thought it was going to rip it, so he went and got all the ice/snow off. A big piece of the ice sheet is still sitting by our back door, so it definately wasn't going anywhere anytime soon!)

I love to see the temple
We were able to go to temple square to see the Christmas lights during the Winter Break. It was so beautiful. My favorite part was the reflection pool with the bubble lights. (Unfortunatly, we forgot out camera so all my pictures I had to borrow from my sister Emily - good thing is she loves to take lots of pictures!) Temple square definately has some unique colors of lights (like pink and orange) that you don't see elsewhere a whole lot.
I will post pictures when I get copies of them...

"This love is a scary love"
Read this article about a Married Couple from England that Chad just sent to me. I can't decide if it's funny or creepy, probably both! I can't imagine...
Pop Stars Hangin' out with Master Chief
Hello World. In my inaugural Blog post I thought I'd toss everyone out some YouTube that I liked a lot. Perhaps I'll try to make a showing more often if I get some good commentary going.
Now I don't personally own an Xbox (just haven't found the need for any games since I became a World of Warcraft addict going on two years now), but I love the Halo video and the Pop Stars one too. This guy has some good stuff reminiscent of Weird Al. . . http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=JamesatWar

If you like Video Games and you know it, Take this quiz!
Do you think that you have spent so much time playing video games that you could recognize the sounds? Well, Take this Video Game Sounds Quiz and find out. I got 11/24 or 46%...not so good. See if you can beat my score.
Or do you think you know the difference between Fact or Crap, Take this Fact or Crap Quiz! I only got a 9/13 or 69% ... horrible!

It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time!
Since Chad (and I) have started playing World of Warcraft, Alli and Drew have always been interested in the things the characters can do and they like to watch them dance and talk. This video is cool to watch and see where the different dances come from. (There is a video I like better with all the different races and their dances, but The Female Orc and the Undead Male dance songs are NOT "G" rated - so I won't post it here, go here to see it.)...

Nice and Easy, Light and Breezy!... Uh! That was it!
This was waaaaaay too hilarious to pass up, so I had to post it! This guy is from the Starburst Commercials (that I saw on my friend Melissa's Blog ) and thought he is so funny, So watch this one first:
Then watch this:
Here is yet another but completely different commercial from Starburst...
And now say this in a hypnotic voice "You want to go out and buy Starburst don't you - go NOW, hurry!"

Here's a test you can take if you are wondering what your IQ maybe is possibly... This probably isn't the best source to find out but it was a fun challenging test to take anyhow...

Free-IQTest.net - Get Your IQ Score
Note: Don't worry I don't think 154 is my actual IQ, but it would be nice if that were true! lol(P.S. Who is quoted in the post title?)
EDIT: I took down the link because they send you a whole lotta junk mail so if you really want to take the test let me know and I will give you the website address.

pictures of you, pictures of me all up on your wall for the world to see
Here's a link to some Photoshopped Celebrity Photos. It's so sickening how things have to look perfect in magazines and such now... Why isn't it good enough to just be human! No wonder why so many people have eating disorders and self esteem issues. Stop the Madness!!!!!!!! lol

tonight I'm gonna party like it's 2008!
Happy New Year 2008 All! It was a fun New Year's Eve party last night. It was the night of the gamers: Tripoly, Wii, Kindom Hearts 2, and since there was no TV available (they were all being used by Video Gamers) Sarah and I did our own version of Karaoke. There was food galore as always with Meatballs in Spicy Sweet Chili Sauce, 7 Layer Dip, Cheese Ball/Borsin and Crackers, Potstickers, French Bread Pizza, Rolls, Veggie Dip, Shrimp and Homemade Tarter Sauce, and New Year's Toasting Juice, Sparkling Catawba (non-alcholic, of course!)
Jeremy stayed up til 10 then couldn't stay awake anymore. Alli watched "Muppet's Christmas Carol" with my mom after the New Years countdown, and came in at about 2 am and said "Grandma and Sarah are sleeping and they're not watching the movie anymore, Mom... Why is everybody sleeping at the party?" She is definately a party girl. She was carrying around her little plastic champagne glass like a pro. Drew lasted til about 1:30 am and came in and said "I'm tired, Dad!" He likes a good party but likes his sleep more! The kids were all "out" by the car ride home.
